thanks Phil- and you know how much I hate stumpers. I tried three different hints which both sat for a few hours. Guess I should've left them all up there in the end.
I thought pEPSI LONg island city or cUPS I LONg for would be the giveaways, because the Answers were so contrived. SIGMA was the hardest to find a way to work it in (no common word ends in SIG), but turned out to be a rather good fit since they play husband/wife on Glee.
The only one that didn't cross over words was tiBETAn
